Enrolment takes place after an application to study has been submitted and admission to the degree programme has been granted by the Registrar¡¯s Office at the University of Augsburg.

Enrolment deadline
The enrolment deadline for the summer semester 2026 has been extended until April 20, 2026. For degree programmes without admission restrictions it is still possible to apply for enrolment, change of degree programme or double degree programme, provided that all required documents have been submitted in full by that date. The date of receipt is decisive.

The extended enrollment deadline does not apply in the following cases:

- For degree programmes that do not offer a start?in the summer semester (application deadline: March 31, 2026)
- If you have received an admission letter for an admission?restricted programme (deadline: as stated in the letter)
- When applying to add the Bachelor degree programme 'School Teaching'?(deadline at the examination office: March 31, 2026)
- For applicants with international certificates: applications for?Bachelor's degree programmes had to be submitted by March 18, 2026. Only applications for enrolment or change of degree programme after receiving an admission letter are still possible until the extended enrolment deadline

Please enclose proof of the bank transfer (copy of the bank statement or complete screenshot of the online transfer) with the enrolment documents.

Documents you will receive after enrolment at the Registrar's Office
After successful enrolment, you will receive the Augsburg Campus Card (CCA)?as well as the computer centre ID by post, which is required for accessing the campus portals. You should then no longer use your applicant ID, as this will be deactivated on 15 November (winter semester) or 15 May (summer semester).

Information about health and accident insurance
All students must provide evidence of health insurance in order to be able to enrol. Further information about health insurance during your studies can be found here.
Second residences tax
The City of Augsburg imposes a tax on secondary residences. Further information about this can be found on the webpages of the City of Augsburg.
Computer centre guidelines
All students must abide by the user guidelines of the computer centre. More details can be found here.
