Publication of the special issue of the Lagoonscapes magazine: “Cracking the Surface”

The latest issue of Lagoonscapes (Venice Journal of Environmental Humanities): “Cracking the Surface” was created under the collaboration of Prof. Simone M. Müller and Livia Cahn (Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich).

In the context of this issue, scientists from a wide range of disciplines come together to explore the relationships between movements on, below and above the earth. A wide variety of actors and their power relations are considered.

The magazine also features the article “When the Ground Drops: Sinkholes and the Verticality of History” by Prof. Simone M. Müller, which takes the sinkhole in Winter Park (Florida) as a starting point to examine the human environment relationships in the karst regions of Central Florida.

This issue is available for free through Open Access: https://edizionicafoscari.unive.it/en/edizioni4/riviste/the-venice-journal-of-environmental-humanities/
