Chair for Neurorehabilitation at DGNR 2025

Once again this year, the Chair for Neurorehabilitation was represented at the joint annual conference of the German, Austrian, and Swiss Societies for Neurorehabilitation with several scientific contributions. The conference was held under the motto “Under one roof: evidence, practice, and innovation” and offered an intensive professional exchange with colleagues from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Our group presented current works on disorders of consciousness, stroke rehabilitation, and the OptiNIV project.

Chair for Neurorehabilitation at DOC-BOX Day

On 23.05.2025 the DOC-BOX Day took place in Liège. Organized by the University of Liège, a project meeting of the DOC-BOX project was followed up by presentations on disorders of consciousness from a clinical and scientific perspective. We were able to gain exciting insights into the research of the project partners and look forward to further collaboration.

PerBrain

Here you can find a brochure for family members and friends of patients with severe brain injuries. It contains information about?disorders of?consciousness and how consciousness is determined using technological measures, some of which are new, to support diagnosis and prognosis assessment. It is intended to facilitate and support the communication process between you and your medical team. The brochure was created as part of the EU research project “EraPerMed - PerBrain,” which investigates the effectiveness of diagnostic measures and their impact on the medical care of patients with disorders of?consciousness.

Have you suffered a stroke with subsequent spasticity in the last 6 months?
