7. Promovierendenkonferenz Umwelt und Recht (ProKUR) für Promovierende im ?ffentlichen Recht mit Umweltbezug in Augsburg

Am 24. und 25. Mai kamen Promovierende aus dem gesamten deutschsprachigen Raum zum siebten Mal, jedoch zum ersten Mal in Augsburg, zusammen, um sich über ihre Forschungsthemen auszutauschen. Nach einem Gru?wort von Herrn Professor Dr. Welzel (Vizepr?sident der Universit?t Augsburg) und einer Keynote von Professorin Dr. Vasilka Sancin (University of Ljubljana) stellten sich acht Promovierende mit ihren Forschungsthemen der Diskussion.

06.11.2023 Online-Tagung zu dem Thema: Redefining the Function of Nature in Law and Climate Litigation

With climate change and the subsequent issues as a core crisis of our times, it is not surprising that the value and the handling of nature especially in regard to law have become a topic of discussion. Questions that are discussed (again) are particularly rights of nature. Another well known development is climate change litigation. This conference gives a room to discuss these issues and their legal impact. It brings together academics from all over the world and therefore enables a comparative discussion and insights into other legal systems and how they cope with redefining the function of nature in law and climate litigation.
