Prof. Dr. Christian Ke?ler explores the potential of traditional and nature-based medicine for sustainable and patient-centered health care.


Prof. Dr. Christian Ke?ler, Department for Integrative Health Care and Prevention at the Faculty of Medicine, will present a lecture entitled “Traditional Medicine and Nature – A Complex Relationship with Great Potential.” The talk explores how traditional medical systems have historically conceptualized the relationship between human health and the natural environment, and discusses their relevance for contemporary integrative medicine, prevention, and sustainable health care. Particular attention will be given to the scientific evaluation of traditional and nature-based therapeutic approaches and their potential contribution to evidence-informed, patient-centered medicine.
