The talk explores how traditional medical systems have historically conceptualized the relationship between human health and the natural environment, and discusses their relevance for contemporary integrative medicine, prevention, and sustainable health care. Particular attention will be given to the scientific evaluation of traditional and nature-based therapeutic approaches and their potential contribution to evidence-informed, patient-centered medicine.
