Nevertheless, protecting our natural life-support systems remains a critical imperative for the international community. Strategies for advancing environmental conservation are diverse and geographically distinct, encompassing the ‘greening’ of human rights, the codification of the rights of nature, and the concept of state stewardship.
As the legal status of nature undergoes some fundamental transformation, this symposium seeks to explore these evolving dynamics.
